Covid-19 Recovery: 147 Covid patients recover in last 24 hours in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department of Odisha informed on January 2 that another 147 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in the State in last 24 hours and are being discharged from various facilities.

The Health department informed about this development through its official Twitter handle.

According to the H&FW department of the state, the highest recoveries have been made in the Khordha district followed by Sundargarh and Cuttack districts.

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 10,45,109.

The details of the recovery cases from different districts today are as follows:

59 from Khordha

15 from Sundargarh

11 from Cuttack

10 from Kendrapara

8 from Sambalpur

6 from Jagatsinghpur

5 from Jharsuguda

5 from Puri

4 from Jajpur

3 from Deogarh

3 from Rayagada

2 from Ganjam

2 from Mayurbhanj

2 from Nayagarh

1 from Baleswar

11 from State Pool

A total of 424 Covid-19 positive cases including 67 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

This has taken the tally of Covid to 10,55,556 informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on the day following New Year 2022.

Among the 424 positives, 249 are quarantine cases and 175 are local contacts.
