Covid-19 positive cases fall down drastically in Twin City of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: 216 Covid-19 cases have been registered in Twin City of Odisha on February 7. Bhubaneswar recorded 187 covid-19 positive cases today while Cuttack city reported 29 new Covid-19 cases today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total 187 positive cases registered today, 20 cases are quarantine cases while 167 cases are local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,54,476. The recovered cases are 1,41,750. The total deceased cases are 1140. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 11,565.

In the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 29 new Covid-19 cases were registered. While 7 cases were Institutional quarantine cases, 11 cases were home quarantine cases. As many as 11 local contact cases were recorded today.

The total cases in CMC are 55,625 while the recovered cases are 54,499. Active cases today are 697 while the deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 419 and 161 respectively.

Odisha reported 1,497 fresh cases of Covid including 283 in the 0-18 years age group, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday.
