Covid-19 claims more 67 deaths in Odisha, Cuttack reports the highest

Bhubaneswar: A total of 67 COVID patients, who were under treatment in different COVID hospitals, died due to the deadly coronavirus, informed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Tuesday.

According to the Health Department, with the latest reports of 67 deaths, the toll due to coronavirus in the State rose to 7493.

Cuttack reports the highest Covid deaths (20) followed by Jagatsinghpur (14), Dhenkanal (8), Jajpur (7), Balasore (5), Angul and Kendrapara ( 3 each), Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj (2 each), Keonjhar, Nabrangpur, Puri and Rayagada (1 each).

Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of death audit process:

1. A 75 years old of Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2. A 51 years old of Male of Angul District.

3. A 67 years old of Male of Angul District.

4. A 55 years old of Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

5. A 81 years old of Female of Balasore District.

6. A 49 years old of Male of Balasore District.

7. A 65 years old of Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Cerebro Vascular Accident.

8. A 60 years old of Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Cerebro Vascular Accident.
