COVID-19 Claims 16 lives in Odisha, 4 each from Bhubaneswar & Balasore

Bhubaneswar: Death toll due to coronavirus continues to rise in Odisha as sixteen more people from the State have succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours as informed by the Health and Family Welfare Department today.

The death toll in Odisha rose to 974.

Regret to inform the demise of sixteen COVID-19 positive patients while under treatment in hospitals:

1. A 50-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

2. A 72-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.

3. A 72-year old male of Balasore district.

4. A 68-year old female of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.

5. A 39-year old male of Bhubaneswar.

6. A 61-year old male of Bhubaneswar.

7. An 88-year old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.

8. A 71-year old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes.

9. A 60-year old female of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

10. A 52-year old male of Kalahandi district.

11. A 30-year old female of Kalahandi district.

12. A 92-year old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.

13. A 57-year old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

14. A 70-year old male of Nayagarh district.

15. A 55-year old female of Nayagarh district.

16. A 54-year old male of Sundergarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
