Couple Killed On Suspicion Of Practising Witchcraft In Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: A couple was hacked to death on suspicion of practising witchcraft in Pendalguda village under Malkangiri police limits.

The couple has been identified as Soma Madi and his wife Sukri Madi of Pendalguda village. They were found murdered on Friday.

Upon receiving the news of the murder, the police reached the spot and saw the bodies were lying in pool of blood and started its investigation.

Later, the police recovered the bodies of the duo and sent it for post-mortem.

On the other hand, Police have detained two people for questioning them in connection with this case.
