Couple gets married at quarantine centre in Odisha’s Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: Love knows no boundaries, it has no culture, race and religion. A couple recently tied knot and that too in a quarantine centre today in Kaudala of Koksara block in Kalahandi district of Odisha. The Sarpanch had organised this quarantine wedding abiding social distancing norms.

The young bride and groom both belonged to Banjibahal village of Jayapatna block in Kalahandi district. The groom Rajaram Thakur(22) was in love with Dwitya Thakur of the same village for quite some years.

Both of them were working as labourers in Bengaluru, Karnataka and after lockdown all the work places were closed and they had a tough time. But, with state government’s help they returned back to Odisha and they were quickly taken to the quarantine centre after their arrival in their village.

After discussing with family members and administration, Sarpanch organised this quarantine wedding and got them married.
