Paralakhemundi: There will be a complete shutdown for four days in every week in Gajapati district until further order, announced the District Collector Anupam Saha today.
Declaring the shutdown, the Collector said that all the localities under Paralakhemundi Municipality, Kashinagar Notified Area Council (NAC) and other block headquarters in the district will remain shut from Thursday to Sunday every week.
He also added that four panchayats which includes Ranipeta, Kerandi, Jammi and Katalkaitha will observe the same days shutdown in a week.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the district has recorded a total positive cases of 1145 which included 466 active cases and 670 recovered cases.
As many as 9 deaths have been recorded in the district till now.
