Bhubaneswar: Odisha Transport department on Monday issued new guidelines for bus service in view of coronavirus outbreak in the state.
The guidelines came after a coronavirus positive case came to the fore in the state capital here.
The guidelines issued by the Transport department are as follows.
There will be no overloading of passengers in buses. Bus driver, conductor and helper along with the passengers travelling in it must wear face masks. The employees working in the transportation department should maintain good hygiene.
Strict measures would be taken against those who defy the above-mentioned guidelines, said the Transport department.
