Control room opened at Odisha State Election Commission for 2019 elections

Bhubaneswar: A control room has been opened at Odisha State Election Commission for the forthcoming 2019 elections today. This was informed by the office of Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).

According to the officials of the State Election Commission, people across the state can convey their grievances at the control room that will function 24 hours daily till the end of the 2019 elections.

People can dial 0674- 2395015 to inform any irregularity regarding the election to the office of the State Election Commission. They also can inform if come across any violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the forthcoming Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections will be held simultaneously in four phases – April 11, 18, 23 and 29 – in Odisha and the counting of votes will be conducted on May 23.

There are 147 state Assembly constituencies and 21 Lok Sabha segments in Odisha.
