Bhubaneswar: The Congress candidate for the upcoming by-poll for Pipili Assembly constituency in Odisha, Ajit Mangaraj passed away on Wednesday. He had been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
Mangaraj tested positive for Coronavirus on April 10 and following this he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

It has been learnt that following death of Mangaraj, the Pipili by-poll which is scheduled to be held on April 17 is likely to be postponed.
In the meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled Mangaraj’s death.
