Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Sunday announced yet another candidate’s name for one of the state assembly constituencies in Odisha for the forthcoming election. The grand old party fielded Pravash Kar Mohapatra from the Morada Assembly constituency of the state.
“The Central Election Committee of the party has approved the candidature of Shri Pravash Kar Mohapatra as Congress candidate for the ensuing general election to the Legislative Assembly of Odisha from 34- Morada Constituency,” said a press release issued by Congress.
Earlier in the day, the national party had announced names of candidates for nine Assembly seats for the ensuing general elections to be held in four phases in Odisha from April 11 to April 29.
