Commissonerate Police arrests man with fake currency notes in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Commissonerate Police arrested a man in possession of a bundle of fake currency notes in the capital city of Odisha this morning.

The accused man was found in possession of the bundle of fake currency notes of Rs 200 denomination at the Airfield fish market.

The man was allegedly using the fake currency notes to buy fish at the market. The fish seller found something suspicious regarding the currency notes and held him at the spot. Following this, the fish seller immediately reported the same to local police. On getting the information, Airfield Police arrived at the spot.

The police detained the man and seized a bundle of fake currency notes from his possession. Further probe into the matter is underway.
