Bhubaneswar: Police commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi has asked to stop manual processing of requests for issue of character certificate, employee verification, tenant verification and domestic help verification.
Sarangi said that these services can be availed through Citizen Portal or Sahayata mobile app to ensure timely delivery of services and transparency.
Sahayata app enables citizens to avail various citizen services under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project. The app currently provides as many as 18 services including a request for FIR copy, procession request, protest/strike request, registration of lost properties, registration of missing person and character certificate request.
