Bhadrak: A video of a college-going girl thrashing an auto-rickshaw driver with sandals in the district have gone viral on social media. The girl reportedly thrashed the driver after he tried to touch the girl inappropriately on the moving vehicle.
As per reports, the incident took place near Banta Square in the district on Friday when the girl boarded the autorickshaw from Charampa.
The driver of the vehicle whose identity is yet to be ascertained later asked the girl her to seat in the front seat as the back seat was fully occupied.
However, the driver tried to touch the girl inappropriately for which she thrashed her with her sandals. Some locals, who were present at the spot filmed the entire incident and later and uploaded the same on social media.
Police said that they are yet to receive any formal complaint in this connection.
