Cold Wave Returns To Odisha, Dense Fog Grips Bhubaneswar, Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: The intense cold wave is set to return to Odisha again. Dense fog gripped the capital city of state today.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre at Bhubaneswar, Phulbani recorded a low of 7 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Reportedly, the night temperature in Balangir dropped to 7.4 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Sonepur was 6.6 degree Celsius, 5.2 degree Celsius in Bhubaneswar and 4.4 degree Celsius in Cuttack.

Similarly, there was a fall of  8.7 and 10 degree Celsius in Jharsuguda and Daringbadi respectively.

The temperature is likely to rise by 5 degrees Celsius for the next 3 to 4 days after Januray 24. Hence, there will be a fall in winter.

Cuttack city also witnessed the dense fog due to which nothing was visible for about 10 meters of distance.
