Cold Wave In Odisha, Mercury To Fall Further From Feb 8

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions continue in Odisha putting life out of  gear. Severe cold is being experienced due to the cold Northly Winds.

Severe cold wave like condition is being experienced in Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal and Nabrangpur.

Most of the districts have recorded temperatures below 15 degree Celsius. Many places have experienced temperatures 3-4 degrees below normal.

The temperature was below the 10 degree mark in 8 places. The cold wave conditions shall continue for 24 hours said the Regional Met Department, Bhubaneswar.

The Met Department also said that a fall in temperatures might be experienced from February 8.
