Cold wave grips Odisha, Temperature below 15° in 12 districts

Bhubaneswar: The cold wave will grip the state along with an increase in temperature, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre.

With the temperature sharply dipping the state is likely to experience intense cold wave in the next four to five days. The night temperature has dropped by three to four degrees Celsius.

Reportedly, in the next four to five days, the state is likely to experience an increase in winter temperatures.

Temperatures have dropped below 15 degrees Celsius in 12 districts in the past 24 hours.

Daringbadi recorded a low of 7.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Titlagarh had a low of 11.8 degrees Celsius, whereas Balangir had a low of 12.5 degrees Celsius. A blanket of thick fog gets visible in Kandhamal from 6 pm to 6 am.
