Cobra Rescued From Special Cabin At Capital Hospital

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped Capital Hospital after a cobra snake was found in the special cabin of Capital Hospital this evening. Snake Helpline founder Subhendu Mallick later rescued the 4.5 feet long cobra.

The reptile was first spotted by few hospital employees inside nursing home 2, a special cabin and they immediately closed the door of the cabin and informed the Snake Helpline.  The incident took place hours after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited the state-run hospital for tooth filling.

In March 2016 one man had sustained an injury after a portion of roof plaster of nursing home (9) fell down at the hospital. The victim Subhendu Mohanty of Bhubaneswar was waiting outside the cabin when the concrete portion weighing around 15 kilograms and measuring 6 feetX5feet had fallen on him.
