CM to visit Ganjam today to attend farmer’s convention, launch projects

Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik will visit Ganjan in a one-day visit today and launch a slew of projects along with attending a farmers’ convention under ‘Kalia’ scheme.

As per a communique issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Naveen is scheduled to leave his residence at 10.45 am and arrive at the Biju Patanik Airport at 10.50 am to fly to Rangeilunda airstrip at around 11.40 in a Helicopter for Kalia farmer’s convention.

During the farmer’s convention CM would inaugurate 231 projects and 48 proposed ones worth Rs. 1,100 crore.

Similarly, agricultural assets and financial assistance under Kalia scheme will also be distributed to farmers ahead a public address by the CM at Rangeilunda meeting venue, says reports.

In the evening, the CM is scheduled to leave on a two-day visit to Delhi to discuss Odisha’s pending issues with the Central Government. He is slated to hold a meeting with Central and State officials at Odisha Bhawan tomorrow.
