CM to visit Ganjam, Gajapati today to launch a slew of projects

Bhubaneswar: Adding to his whirlwind tour across the state in past couple of months, CM Naveen Patnaik will visit Ganjam and Gajapati districts today to launch a number of projects.

As per a communique from CMO, the CM will visit Gopalpur, Sheragada and Samakhemundi areas of Ganjam district and Garabandha of Gajapati districts.

While, the Rs 1400 cr worth second berth of the much-awaited Gopalpur Port would be dedicated to the nation by Naveen during his visit to Ganjam today, he is also slated to launch projects worth Rs 200 cr in Sheragada and Rs 10 cr in Sanakhemundi. A number of projects will also have foundation stones lying in the districts.

State Minister of Transport & Commerce Dr Nrusingh Charan Sahu, Brahmapur MP Sidhanta Mahapatra, Gopalpur MLA Dr Pradeep Panigrahi, and Chhatrapur MLA Dr Priyanshu Pradhan would also attend the event at Gopalpur Port, says report.

Later in the day the CM will land at Garabandha helipad under Goshani block and address a state-level KALIA farmers’ congregation. During the event he would launch projects worth over Rs 582 cr.

Administrations of both the districts have made ample security arrangements for the CM visit to make it happen in a hassle free manner.
