CM to visit Bargarh district today to launch a slew of projects

Bargarh: Adding to his whirlwind tour of various districts of Odisha to launch a slew of new projects, CM Naveen Patnaik will visit Bargarh’s Sohela today to launch a slew of projects and address a gathering.

The CM is also scheduled to release Rs 5000 to around 12 lakh small and marginal farmers under KALIA scheme at Lochhapali as 2nd phase monetary assistance.

As per CMO source, Naveen will lay the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 2,036 crore, including the Gangadhar Meher Irrigation Project and Haldhar Nag Sambalpuri Language Research Centre during his Bargarh visit today.

Notably, the CM visited Satyabadi and Brahmagiri Assembly constituencies yesterday to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects worth Rs 882 crore. He handed over Rs 15, 000 each to 186 women SHGs on the occasion also.
