CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates Biju Patnaik Adarsha Vidyalaya, other projects In Berhampur
Berhampur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated the Biju Patnaik Adarsha Vidyalaya at Rangeilunda block in Ganjam district. Besides this, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of many other developmental projects.
Commissioned by the Odisha Government’s ST & SC Development Department with an aim to provide urban English Medium Education to Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) students of Odisha, the Biju Patnaik Adarsha Vidyalaya will provide residential education for 1500 ST & SC Students. It has been constructed in an area of 7.65 acres with one academic building, one boys’ hostel, one girls’ hostel and 45 staff quarters with a budget of Rs 45 crore.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the new HRD Centre building, Library and Academic Block of Berhampur University besides various developmental projects under Gopalpur Assembly constituency.
Odisha’s ST & SC Development Minister Ramesh Majhi, MP Sidhant Mohapatra and Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahi were present during the inaugural function.
