CM Naveen Patnaik flags off ‘Mo Bus’ service in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off the technology-driven and citizen-friendly ‘Mo bus’ service here on Tuesday.The chief Minister also travelled in the bus with the passengers. He boarded near the Biju Patnaik International Airport and got down near the State assembly.

The bus service has come up with ‘Mo Bus’ mobile app through which citizens can book their tickets and also get to know the locations of the vehicle and minimise their waiting time at their nearby bus queue shelters (BQS) or bus stops.

Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), the special purpose vehicle for the pan-city public transport administration through city buses, has already received 125 buses for registration. While the company has undertaken the registration formalities of the vehicles, 75 more buses are likely to join the fleet very soon.
