CM Naveen Patnaik condoles demise of Arun Jaitley
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of former Union Minister and veteran BJP leader Arun Jaitley who passed away at 66 at New Delhi AIIMS today.
Naveen took to his Twitter handle and expressed his grief over the demise of the senior leader and acknowledged that his contribution to governance was profound.
Deeply saddened to hear about passing away of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley ji. He was a distinguished lawyer, parliamentarian and an erudite person. His contribution to governance has been profound. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and followers.

Notably, leader cutting across party lines from across the country have expressed their condolence over the passing away of the former finance minister and claimed that it had left a vacuum in the political sphere.
Late Jaitley had been admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi on 9 August.
“It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Member of Parliament & Former Finance Minister, Government of India at 12:07 pm on 24th August, 2019. Shri Arun Jaitley was admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi on 09/08/2019 and was treated by a multidisciplinary team of senior Doctors,” said a release by AIIMS earlier in the day.
