CM Naveen Files Nomination For Hinjili Constituency

Berhampur: BJD Supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik filed his nomination papers for the Hinjili Assembly seat at the office of the sub-collector/Returning Officer at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district on Wednesday.

CM Naveen arrived at Hinjili around 10 am in the morning. From there, he proceeded to the Tara Tarini Temple to seek the blessings of the goddess. After the darshan, the Chief Minister reached Chhatrapur and filed his nomination.

Several leaders, including Ganjam District BJD president and Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy, BJD candidate for Aska parliamentary constituency, Pramila Bisoi, and other party members like Chandrasekhar Sahu, Bikram Panda and Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik were present.

Noteworthy, CM Naveen will be contesting from Bijepur Assembly seat in Bargarh district and Hinjili seat in Ganjam district simultaneously. Elections to both the seats will be held in the second-phase polling i.e on April 18.
