CM hails contributors on ‘World Blood Donor Day’ today
Bhubaneswar: With the ‘World Blood Donor Day’ being celebrated across the globe with much dedication, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has commended the contribution of the blood donors.
Taking to his Twitter handle in the morning, Naveen acknowledge every blood donor by posting a beautiful message in which he dubbed the donors as life savers and saluted them.

The ‘World Blood Donor Day’ is celebrated around the globe on June 14 every year serves to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts. The day also points at the need of blood donation for everyone to ensure affordable and timely supplies of safe and quality-assured blood to those who are in need.
The host country for ‘World Blood Donor Day-2019’ is the African country Rwanda.
