Paralakhemundi: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with Anadi Charan Sethi, Civil Supply Officer, State Headquarter & Ex- CSO, Gajapati, Paralakhemundi on Monday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 4 DSPs, 8 Inspectors and other staff.
Based on a piece of reliable information, the vigilance sleuths have conducted raids at five places on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur.
1) Residential double-storyed building of Sri Anadi Charan Sethi located at Ram Nagar 1st Lane, Chhatrapur, Dist- Ganjam.
2) Single-storyed market complex of Sri Sethi located at Rama Nagar, Chhatrapur.
3) Double-storyed building of Sri Sethi located at Kharvel Nagar 3rd Lane, Berhampur (given on rent).
4) Residential house of his elder daughter of Dr. Nibedita Behera located at Angaragadia, Balasore.
5) OYO Hotel namely Maa Residency at Chandra Sekharapur , Bhubaneswar where the elder son Sri Soumya Ranjan Behera is staying.
