Children’s Day: CM Naveen to address his 1st ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today

Naveen Patnaik 1Bhubaneswar: Marking the Children’s Day celebration in a grand fashion this year, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would address a gathering of around 4,500 students of 24 schools in the city, at a special function at Capital High School playground here on Tuesday.

The gala event would also witness the presence of 100 noted personalities of Odisha, who have enriched the state in their respective fields.

The Capital High School has been decked up with a new look for this grand event also named as ‘Sishu Mahotsav’ which would start at around 11.15 am, after the arrival of the CM at the venue. A massive stage has been set up for the purpose at the playground and ample arrangement of security has been made.

The message of this year’s Children’s Day celebration has been kept as

“Ame Padhibu, Gadhibu, Srestha Hebu” or “We would study, grow and come out as the best”.

 

10 platoons of police force, 50 police officers, along with fire brigade teams have been deployed on duty at the venue of the ‘Sishu Mahotsav’.

Students have expressed their happiness and curiosity to meet the CM for the first time ahead of the event.

“I am feeling a bit nervous as would meet the CM for the first time. However, there is a sense of pride in my heart also to get him among us and having a dialogue,” said a student.
