Bhubaneswar: War of words broke out between ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and BJP over the brutal murder of Chhatrapur NAC Councillor Laxmidutta Pradhan, as both parties hit out at each other with allegations.
It all started when BJD spokesperson Prashanta Nanda alleged that BJP’s Ganjam District Secretary Krushna Chandra Nayak, who recently joined the saffron party in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, was the main conspirator in this case.
The BJP hit back hard, saying it was Chhatrapur MLA Priyanshu Pradhan (BJD), who was at loggerheads with Laxmidutta. So, he should answer first. Meanwhile, Priyanshu Pradhan has rubbished the allegations and said the fight would continue till Laxmidutta’s family gets justice.
DGP Dr. Rajendra Sharma while talking to media today, revealed that the key conspirators in this case have been identified and would be behind bar soon.
