Chandrasekharpur DAV School issued show cause notice for violation of COVID guideline

Bhubaneswar: The Director of Secondary Education of the Odisha government has issued a show-cause notice to D.A.V. Public School, Chandrasekharpur for violation of COVID guidelines.

The show-cause notice has been reportedly issued for violation of guidelines issued by SRC and the government of Odisha on reopening of schools.

The department in its notice to the Chandrasekharpur DAV School said, “It has been alleged that your school has given a notice to students and parents regarding the conduct of Periodic Assessment from February 12 in offline mode.”

“Due to suspension of offline classes for a long time, many of the students might have faced socio-emotional issues and might be also lacking the preparedness to face the offline examination immediately after reopening of school,” it added.

The notice further said that conducting the examination in offline mode may be a cause of stress for students. This action on your part violates the instruction contained in the aforesaid government orders.

“Hence, you are called upon to explain why action deemed proper will not be initiated against your school for violation of Govt. instructions. Your reply must reach by tomorrow,” it further said.
