Central University Of Odisha Joins CUET-2022, Last date of application tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, has joined the Common University Entrance Test (undergraduate) (CUET (UG)-2022) for admission.

The entrance test will be conducted for admission of students to various undergraduate courses/programmes in the central universities for the academic session 2022-23.

According to sources, there is only one programme, 5 yr Integrated Mathematics, under CUET (UG) whereas, there will be 12 PG programmes and one B.Ed. programme under CUET (PG).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been handed over with the responsibility of conducting the Undergraduate Entrance Tests for all the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2022-23.

The entrance exam will be a CBT (Computer Based Test) that will be conducted in 28 centres across Odisha.

Notably, the last date for online registration and submission of the application form for CUET (UG) – 2022 is May 6, 2022 (up to 11:50 pm).

It is pertinent to mention that CUET will be conducted in July this year. The students can take admission in any of the 45 Central universities. The students will answer multiple choice questions in two slots and they can appear in a total of 13 languages.

CUET 2022 Syllabus:

Section 1A and 1B: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, [Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary]

Section 3: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Class 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning
