CDA-Bhubaneswar Airport ‘Mo Bus’ service begins

Bhubaneswar: Bringing more ease to bus journey between the capital city Bhubaneswar and Millenium City Cuttack in the state, the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has started ‘Mo Bus’ service between the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) and CDA in Cuttack.

The ‘Mo Bus’ service between the two cities was launched on December 25 and is available on Route No-10 which is 37 kilometre long, informed the CRUT authorities.

The newly launched bus service could be availed by the commuters at two starting points, one at Biju Patnaik Airport, where buses will be available from 7 am to 8 pm, and the other at the Biju Patnaik Park in CDA from 7 am to 8.20 pm.

Currently, there are 28 buses including 19 AC and nine non-AC buses on the route which will be changed as per the requirement in due course.

The ‘Mo Bus’ Route No-10 has stoppages at Capital Hospital Square, AG Square, Bhubaneswar Club, Heads of the Departments (Na Tala), Power House Square, Kalinga Stadium, Jayadev Vihar Square, Kalinga Hospital Square, Patia Square, Infocity Square, Shikharchandi, KIIT Square, Nandankanan Biological Park, Barang, Trisulia Square, Judicial Academy, CDA-6 Park, CDA-9 Market Square, Justice Square and Biju Patnaik Park.

The ‘Mo Bus’ service with 163 buses in its fleet is currently available on total 12 routes giving a boost to the public transport in the capital city.
