CBSE question paper viral row: BJD seeks HRD Minister’s resignation

Bhubaneswar: The student wing of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday protested the decision of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct re-examinations of Mathematics paper of Class X and Economics paper of Class XII. They gheraoed the Bhubaneswar office of the CBSE and demanded the resignation of Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar.

More than hundred Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) activists gheraoed the CBSE office and demanded that the re-examinations should be conducted only in New Delhi as the question paper leak was confined to the national capital only.

Notably, the question papers of both the subjects were leaked 30 minutes before the beginning of the examinations.
