CBSE class 12th result 2018 declared with 83.01% pass rate

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 results this afternoon with 83.01% pass rate against 82.02 per cent of last year.

Meghna Srivastava of Ghaziabad is declared as the topper with 499 marks out of 500. Trivandrum recorded highest pass percentage of 97.32%, Chennai stood second with 93.87%, followed by Delhi at 89%.

Students can log into cbse.examresults.net , cbseresults.nic.in and Results to check their results.

The IVR numbers to check the results are – 24300699 – for local Delhi users and 011 – 24300699 -for subscribers in other parts of the country.

The result can also be received by sending SMS.  Students can type cbse12 give space and type roll number give space and type sch no give space and type center no and send it to (mobile no) 7738299899.

As many as 12, 11,86,306 candidates had appeared the exams at 4,138 centres across the country. The CBSE Board had also conducted the examination at 71 centres outside the country.

Originally the annual examination was scheduled to be held between March 3 and April 13. Later, they were extended to April 25 after Board came to know that the Economics paper was leaked.
