Case Registered Against BJD Student Leader For Misbehaving With MP Anubhav Mohanty

Cuttack:  Purighat police station today registered a case against vice president of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), Manjit Das for allegedly misbehaving with BJD’s Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty.

The actor turned MP has also alleged misbehaviour by the Inspector In-Charge (IIC) of Purighat police station.

Police said that the case against the student leader was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by Personal Security Officer (PSO) of the MP.

Mohanty who happens to be the neighbour of the student leader has expressed his anguish on his twitter handle. The first time MP has alleged Das of creating frequent disturbances in the neighbourhood in a drunken condition. The MP has also posted two videos of his neighbours who were allegedly manhandled by Das and his supporters.

On the other hand Das today refuted the allegations and accused the MP of misusing his powers. “I have never misbehaved with him and the particular incident was the fallout of our personal dispute over parking of vehicles. The MP has been using our land to park his vehicles and when I opposed him he threatened me to ruin my political career,” said Das in his reaction to the issue.
