Capital city of Odisha reports 4 Coronavirus positive cases on May 22

Bhubaneswar: As many as 4 cases of Coronavirus have been detected in Odisha’s capital city in the last 24 hours. Bhubaneswar has recorded 4 positive cases on May 22, 2022.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 4 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases. Single case was detected from Unit-4, Patia, Tankapani road and Bomikhal each.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,644. The recovered cases are 1,55,355. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 75. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 3.

Odisha on Sunday reported fifteen new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,88,372.

Reportedly, among the 15, ten patients are in quarantine, and five are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 110.

Today, Khordha recorded the highest Covid cases with nine positives while Balasore and State Pool with two positive cases each and Sambalpur and Sundargarh has one case each.
