Kendrapara: The GST enforcement wing has raided the residence of a businessman in Kendrapara district of Odisha today.
The GST enforcement team has raided the residence of a businessman identified as Biswajit Sahoo. He was allegedly involved in a GST fraud of five crore.
The GST officials got a tip-off regarding the fraud and raided the residence of the businessman, they found many incriminating documents.
Biswajit had opened a number of fraud companies in the name of his relatives and family members to effect the GST fraud.
The GST enforcement team said that action will be taken after proper investigation of the matter and inspection of seized documents.
