Bus turns turtle after hitting truck, narrow escape for 50 passengers

Keonjhar: Over 50 passengers had a narrow escape after a bus carrying them hit a trailer truck near National Highway-20 near Kolimati in Keonjhar today.

The mishap took place while the bus was en-route to Bhubaneswar from Keonjhar and the driver failed to spot a trailer truck moving ahead in the same direction on the highway and ended up hitting it.

The bus skidded off the road to overturn following the collision leaving the passengers trapped inside. However, they managed to get out of the vehicles and managed to escape with minor injuries.

Police have reached the spot and seized the mangled bus.
