Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, 17 persons, sustained critical injuries after a passenger bus overturned near Kalikaprasad village in Keonjhar district of Odisha today.
Reportedly, as many as 50 people were travelling in a private bus was enroute to Champua. The accident took place today afternoon as the driver lost control over its wheels. The ill-fated vehicle skid off the road and overturned.
Only 17 people are injured including four minors whereas two sustained critical injuries.
The bus staff have fled from the spot after the accident.
The injured have been admitted to the Champua Hospital for medical assistance while others who sustained minor injuries have been discharged after being provided with the first aid.
