Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, one person has been killed in a road accident that took place on the Odisha-West Bengal border late on Monday night.
Reportedly, the bus was en route to Kolkata from Bhubaneswar that collided against a truck near Sonakania Square on the Odisha-West Bengal border due to heavy fog.
As a result, one person has been killed whereas 10 people have sustained critical injuries.
On getting the information from locals, Dantan police arrived at the spot and recovered the injured people. They were rushed to West Bengal’s Dantan Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
The cops have initiated an investigation into the matter and the body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy procedure.
