Bhubaneswar: In a case of daylight burglary, miscreants allegedly decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 16 lakh from a house in Laxmisagar area this afternoon.
The owner of the house Abinash Sahoo has lodged a police complaint in this connection. Sahoo alleged that the incident took place when all the family members were present on the ground floor.
“No one was there on the first floor when the incident took place. The lock of the almirah was broken and the gold ornaments were missing,” alleged Sahoo. Police have started an investigation after getting the complaint.
