Berhampur: A burglar was injured after jumping from a house at Bharabi Nagar in the town this morning. The burglar identified as Vicky Raula has been admitted at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
Police said that Raula had managed to sneak into the house of one Rajkumar Sahoo as no one was present in the house.
“However after few hours family members returned and found the door opened. Later they traced Raula on the rooftop. Raula apprehending being nabbed jumped from the roof,” said a police official.
Later the family members spotted Raula lying on the ground with fractures on both his legs. Police reached the spot and admitted him at the hospital.
