Bhubaneswar: The budget session of the 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence from June 25.
This would be the first budget session after the formation of a new government in Odisha this year.
The budget session in the Assembly will kickstart with a speech by Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal.
The state budget for the year 2019-20 will be tabled in the House on June 28, a day after the election of the Deputy Speaker.
Noteworthy, there will be 30 business days during the session from June 25 till August 8.
While the first phase of the budget session will be held from June 25 to July 2, the second phase will start on July 12 and conclude on August 8.
