BSF Jawan Shoots Self With Service Rifle In Odisha
Koraput: A border security force (BSF) jawan of 15 Battalion has allegedly committed suicide by shooting in Koraput district of Odisha on Saturday.
The deceased jawan has been identified as Inder Singh of Rajasthan.
According to reports, the BSF jawan Indra Singh had gone to his native place in Rajasthan on leave and returned back to the base camp at Jalaput on Friday.
He attempted to end his life by shooting on his head with his service rifle.
An investigation has been initiated into the matter. However the reason of the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
