Kalyansinghpur: Border Security Force (BSF) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in Kalysinghpur of Rayagada district on Wednesday.
The deceased jawan, has been identified as Dilip Mai. He was posted at the BSF 68 Battalion in Kalyansinghpur of Rayagada.
Sources said, he was married four months back. It is suspected that he might have taken this extreme step over family dispute.
Though the exact reason behind this extreme step is yet to be ascertained, a probe has been initiated into the matter.
