Puri: In a major drug haul, the Odisha Police along with a special Task Force team busted an illegal narcotics den at Mangalaghat Chhaka in Puri district and huge quantity of brown sugar and arrested three persons in this connection.
The arrested drug dealers have been identified as Susanta Pattanaik alias Nanda, Raj Kishore Sahoo, and Manas Sahoo.
Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force team along with Baselisahi police conducted a raid and seized brown sugar worth Rs 3 crore.
Police also seized Rs 20,000 cash, four mobile phones, one currency counting machine, and one gray colour Maruti Alto from their possession.
Adding to it, Nanda will be taken into three days custody for further investigation, informed Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh.
