Puri: Brown sugar worth around Rs.16 lakh has been seized by the police in Puri district of Odisha on Tuesday.
According to reports, acting on a tip-off the Chandanpur Police seized 160 grams of brown sugar. The estimated worth of the seized contraband is said to be around Rs 16 lakh
The police during the raid has successfully arrested two persons in connection with the smuggling of this contraband.
The identity of the arrested persons is yet to be ascertained. It is suspected that the brown sugar was being smuggled to Puri.
