Cuttack: The Commissionerate police has seized brown sugar from Jagatpur area of Cuttack district in Odisha and arrested two drug peddlers in this connection today.
The accused has been identified as Sudhir Mohanty and Bikram Samal.
As much as 270 grams of brown sugar was seized from them in the raid.
The estimated worth of the seized brown sugar is Rs 27 Lakh, said Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prateek Singh in a press meet.
