Brother of the bride dies in bike accident

Angul: In a heart-wrenching incident, brother of the bride and one other died in a bike accident here on early Tuesday morning. Another relative riding pillion is seriously injured and has been hospitalised.

Dhadia Nayak, belonging to Damodarpur village under Thakurgarh Police Station in Angul district, had his sister’s wedding on Monday. Once done with the wedding, he along with two of his relatives went to drop his sister and her in-laws at their place. While returning it was early Tuesday morning. This is when they lost control over the bike, which they were riding, at Barpali village near Batbayani Temple and went on to hit a tree. The bike fell about five feet off the road.

Nayak and one other person died on spot in the unfortunate bike accident. The third person was critically injured and has been admitted to Angul Hospital.
