Jharsuguda: A youth was shot dead at Brajarajnagar in the district this evening. Though the motive behind the crime is yet to be ascertained, police suspect past enmity behind the murder.
The deceased has been identified as Mantu Ghosh, the brother of dreaded criminal Sonu Ghosh.
As per reports the incident took place when Mantu was coming out of a hotel and miscreants opned fire at him from a close range. The miscreants manage to escape from the spot.
Mantu was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital where he was declared received dead. Police have rushed to the spot and have started an investigation.
